Yesterday... my mom just come home and bring me a photo of my grandma.



So I decide to take a photo of my grandma photo... and send it to my friends...

Yeah, at that time the photo was still fine.


but today when I check my camera roll on my phone ... I found this....






as you see, the picture file was broken but only my grandma photo.

WHY.

so... my grandma just pass away on last Thursday.....

and I'm not able to go to the funeral. Because of the distance... yeah it's about 630 Km. long.

but everyone's live have to go forward...

my cousin told me that my grandma is about to leaves this world.

Today I'll show you the Chinese borrowed Thai dessert.

it's grass jelly, so in Thai language we called it in the Chinese name "เฉาก๊วย" [Chao-Guay].



and here it is.





it's come in the little cup already filled with the syrup.

for the old way the seller will separate the jelly and the syrup, so when we order the dessert, the seller will cut the large cube of jelly into bite size and pour the syrup into the jelly then topped with shredded cane sugar and ice cube.


and this is the convenient way so they already mixed it together.





This is about 10 Baht per cup. not expensive but not cheap. (average Thai snack price is about 5 Baht per package.)

this dessert is very popular in hot summer, but you can find it in any season.


so after 2 cups of Chao-Guay it's enough to bring back my childhood memory~.

back to my application today I just finished my migration tool...

it's the most hardest data converting/importing tool that I ever develop.

because the input is just an URL then after you press the button it will fetch all the essential information and all essential image from that URL.

even it's ask you to choose what photo do you want to keep in the photo gallery or set it as a cover.

and after you finished correcting the information, just press the import button and it will import the restaurant information, resize all the photos that you chosen and reupload them into the application server.







and by this migration tool I just finished import all restaurant into the server.

and this is the result.

got some strange language instead of Thai language.... so I just double checked the working page encoding and it's correct but after data insertion, this happened.


with a rapid research I just got some work around to fix this trouble.

yesterday I just decide to buy the new iPad.

The main point is for debug my application on the iOS device.

And that's cost me 16800 Baht..... yeah very expensive for me, so it's took all my money from extra work and 1/3 of my salary.

Last two weeks Miro-san bring me a Japanese soumen set and told me that after I cooked it then post into my blog.


so yesterday I just have some free time to make a food and this is it.

and I also making the another dish but I don't know what it is, I just put the left over meat and mushroom into the pot add some ingredient and boils it for and hour.
